The Laff Riot Girls is Western
Canada’s longest running independent stand up comedy show. It was
started in 1997 by local stand up comic Ardell Fitzpatrick to help give
aspiring and established female stand ups a show to hone their skills
and try out material. It has since evolved into a show known for high
octane comedy and pleasing audiences wherever they perform.
The Laff Riot Girls have produced over 500 stand up shows at comedy clubs, Comedy Festivals, theatres and corporate events across Western Canada. We have also organized fundraisers and raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for charities ranging from the Foodbank, United Way, Walk to End Breast Cancer, to Charlford House.
